Multiplatform application generation system. CSP/AD (Application Development) component generated application programs. CSP/AE (Application Environment, or CSP/370 Runtime Services) provided the runtime libraries to execute programs developed by CSP/AD.

Originally released in 1981. Initially worked as an interpretive language, changed to generated COBOL code with V4 in 1993. Replaced with VisualAge Generator. Support ended in 2001.
