Software to authenticate access to Websphere MQ on z/OS. Authentication is performed by checking logon ID and password against the z/OS external security manager (such as RACF), or against an internal z/MQAUSX database.

Similar to z/MQSSX, but includes:

• authentication against the z/OS external security manager or internal z/MQAUSX database
• client-side security exit so that security credentials can be encrypted
