Runs on may systems, including z/OS, AIX and HP-UX.
Originated from Massachusetts General Hospital Utility Multi-Programming System (MUMPS) developed in 1966. MUMPS was later standardized as M.
GT.M became available in the 1980s, developed by the Greystone Technology Corp. Greystone was acquired by Sanchez Computer Associates in 1998, which was then acquired by FIS in 2004. FIS added z/OS support to GT.M in 2009. |
