COBOL compiler. ANSI 1985 compliant COBOL. Full replacement for VS COBOL II. Relies on Language Environment for runtime libraries.

First released as SAA AD/CYCLE COBOL/370 in 1991. Replaced for z/OS by Enterprise COBOL in 2004. z/OS support ended in 2004. Still supported for z/VM.
