Produce reports from large quantities of mainframe transaction data. Data sources supported include Db2 and VSAM. Creates multiple reports from the same 'scan' of transaction data.
Initially developed as GenevaERS from Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) Consulting. Acquired by IBM when it acquired PWC Consulting in 2002 and renamed to "Scalable Architecture for Financial Reporting" (SAFR). Code base given by IBM to the Linux Foundation's Open Mainframe Project in 2020, and renamed back to GenevaERS.
