Data Processing Tables (DPT). Improve database performance by loading read-only tables into memory. Data sources supported include DB2, VSAM and ADABAS. 

Components include:

• DPT/Access - access in-memory tables from CICS, batch, and IMS.
• DPT/Online - manage in-memory tables from CICS or TSO.
• DPT/Batch Utilities - load and unload tables, and produce reports.
• DPT/ECSA - load tables into common storage for use by multiple systems in an LPAR
• DPT/Logging - audit
• DPT/XML - translate between tables and XML.
• DPT/Security - security.
