California based company formed in 1968 by Jim Case and Bill Newcomer, initially as a consulting company and service bureau. Initially called Computer Retrieval Systems, renamed to Dylakor in 1969. Newcomer bought out Case in 1975.
First product was DYL-250, a file conversion program for the System/360.
Acquired by Sterling Software in 1983.
