Detail:

Eden Prarie, Minnesota based software development company formed in 1979 as Lee Data. Originally manufacturers of 3270 terminals, later changed its name to Apertus Technologies, and its focus to communications and middleware software products.

Sold its Internet Solutions Division, including its communications and mainframe business, to Computer Network Technology in 1997. In the same year, acquired the privately held Carleton Corporation, and entered the data warehousing market. Changed name to Carleton Corporation in 1998. Acquired by Oracle in 2000.
