Software development company created by merging Thomson Software Products and International Development Environments. At this time, was owned by French based Thomson-CSF (later Thales). Sold to Gore Technology Group (GTG) in 1998.
Split into two companies in 2003. Aonix Critical Development Solutions was sold to outside investors, and retained the Aonix name. The remaining divisions were retained by Gore Technology, and renamed Select Business Solutions.
