Software implementing event processing. Allows non-technical users to specify criteria justifying events. Software can monitor and process these events, possibly searching for patterns or thresholds.
Based on the Microsoft Windows/UNIX Websphere Business Events product, originally acquired by IBM from Aptsoft in 2008. z/OS support introduced in V6.2 in 2009. Supported environments include CICS and IMS.
Merged into Websphere Operational Decision Management for z/OS.
