Take snapshot copies of DB2 and IMS data. Used by other BMC products such as Copy Plus, Check Plus, Reorg Plus and Unload Plus to perform processing while the data remains online.
Based on Extended Buffer Manager. Also uses disk hardware snapshot facilities if available.
