Report generation language. Originally released as QUICKJOB by Systems Support Software in the mid 1970s. Renamed to Vision:Report by Sterling Software after buying QUICKJOB from Goal systems in 1988. Subsequently acquired by CA from its acquisition of Sterling Software. A COBOL-like language with interfaces to DB2, IMS and CA IDMS datbases and VSAM. Includes pre-canned forms, memos, letters and labels.
