Boston, Massachusetts based software company formed in 1990. Initially focussed on DB2 software for IBM mainframes. Within five years, Rocket sold these products to IBM.
Rocket continues to develop and market software for IBM mainframes, but has expanded to other platforms. Has also undergone a series of acquisitions to expand its market.
